Cutting Board & Knife – Professional Chef Package

Naaman’s professional chef’s set includes a 24×34 cm acacia wood cutting board and a 14 cm long Santoku knife. Knife safety is extremely important – use with the utmost care and attention, the knife blade is very sharp and may cause cuts. Do not run your fingers over the edge of the blade and hold the knife only by the handle. The knife should be used only on a suitable cutting board and not on a marble or metal surface. The knife should be used only for its intended purpose – for cutting food only, and should not be used to open screws or bottles. Improper use will damage the blade, the quality and accuracy of the cut. Do not try to catch a falling knife and do not check the sharpness of the knife with your fingers. After use, hang the knife in a high and safe place on a special knife rack and keep it out of the reach of children. The knife should only be washed by hand in lukewarm water with soap and wiped thoroughly with a soft cloth. Do not use a dishwasher, as the high heat and chemicals may damage the blade and cause corrosion.
